Study Circles

Study Circles are a great way to come together with other community members in an informal, yet inquisitive, atmosphere to explore more deeply those issues of social and environmental concern. G.A.L.A. hosts ongoing Study Circles based on courses from the Granite Earth Institute (GEI). Visit the GEI link to read course descriptions and learn more about the organization.

As of January 2008, G.A.L.A. has completed two GEI Study Circles, "Voluntary Simplicity" and "Choices for a Sustainable Lifestyle." Participants refelctions are shared here.
