Sustainable Towns

G.A.L.A. volunteers recently published a comprehensive, forty-page draft of recommendations for 2007 Wolfeboro Master Plan Update. G.A.L.A.'s goal was to help research sustainable solutions to challenges identified during Wolfeboro Master Plan Update. The newly released and updated 2007 Wolfeboro Master Plan Summary states, "Encourage the Board of Selectmen, working with community groups such as G.A.L.A., to establish a Sustainability Initiative for the Town of Wolfeboro" (Land Use Chapter: Objective LU.1: RP.8). Inspired community members are asked to contact G.A.L.A. to help put the Wolfeboro Sustainability Initiative into action.
